Snacks and meals on the event
If you are from Lausanne, hard to ignore Noz Chocolatier and Mauro Traiteur. The 2 are local food-crafters known and recognized as much for their quality requirement as for the delicious taste of their preparations.
Noz will prepare snacks on Friday and Saturday, small sandwiches, delicacies and croissants, but also their famous « taillaudes » 😉.
Mauro Traiteur meanwhile, will take care of Saturday lunch. Hot and cold Italian specialties, dishes and desserts.
The choices for all the catering is to move towards local and quality consumption. To privilege local actors, who work in a traditional way. WordPress is Free software and it seems obvious that the principles of sharing and equity must spread to all our organizational choices. The WordCamp Lausanne 2018 team hopes that you will enjoy all aspects of your days 😘.
Warm-up – Friday evening 28
From 7:30pm, we will receive you at the Restaurant de la piscine de Mon-Repos (pool’s restaurant), for a Tunisian evening whose chef Jimmy Farhat has the secret.

A good chicken couscous (or vegetables for vegetarians). Prepared by the chef with local products and his choice of Tunisian spices, and a friendly atmosphere. Accompanied by a wine from the region, chosen by the chef.
Served as a buffet that will give you the opportunity to navigate from one table to another and chat with everyone.
50 CHF for the full menu, 35 CHF without alcohol.
Everyone is welcome, and the meal is offered to speakers, sponsors and volunteers.
After-party – Saturday evening 29
Come and have a last drink together after these crazy days !!
At the Restaurant de la piscine de Mon-Repos , you will be served drinks after around 8pm (exact hour TBC). On the terrace (in case of good weather), or indoors, we will enjoy these last moments of relaxation in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Snacks with be served with the drinks but if you want a real meal, you can go also eat at the same place before the party, or go in another restaurant in the neighbourhood, see the list at the end of the page.
