Alena Belousova
My name is Alena Belousova. I have had more than 10 years of experience in development and maintaining web projects.
I started my professional career in Moscow and performed as a project manager, web designer and advertising counselor.
Later, I lived in Zurich, Switzerland, for 5 years. I assimilated fast. I got many professional and social contacts during this period. I like the environment and people in Switzerland very much; therefore, I decided to start my own business in graphics, web design and development in Zurich. Now I live in Luxembourg half year and work meanwhile also throughout Europe.
Therefore, I have a wide network of professional designers and programmers in Germany, Russia and Belarus. That gives me enough resources and flexibility to perform different types of projects at the same time.
WordPress is one of the most significant direction of my business. My team and me would like to share our experience with others.

I’m an active organiser for the WP Zürich meetup and also helped organise the WordCamps in Zürich and probably will do so again next year. I work part time at switchplus.ch as a team lead and system architect for their SME managed WordPress product and I spend as much time as possible gardening every week in a number of gardens I co-run.
Simon Kraft
I’m Simon. When asked about my job, I often struggle to find a sufficient answer. Following a more conventional career path, I might be a pilot, chef or teacher today. But well, I did not follow that path and instead became a web developer. Crazy, right?I make a living from writing code. Code that somehow helps running websites, that’s why there is a web in “web developer”. When working on web projects, I almost exclusively use the content management system WordPress. The beautiful German town Frankfurt is the place I call home at the moment, even though I travel all across Germany every week.
